Welcome to Pegasus Farm Equestrian Center

We are located in the beautiful rolling hills of the northern panhandle of West Virginia. Centrally located in Wheeling, only 1 mile from West Liberty, 4 miles from Bethany, and 6 miles from Oglebay Resort. Our 160 acre farm is a full-service facility offering:

  • Complete boarding services with stable or pasture board.

  • Instruction for riders from beginners through advanced. Our specialties are three day eventing, dressage and hunter-jumper.

  • Training for your horse from the ground up through any discipline. We also re-school the spoiled or difficult horse to help them become a better partner for you.

  • Breeding with a focus on superior movement, correct conformation and presence for future generations of outstanding sport horses. We are home to "Pegasus Pure Gold", the Jockey Club registered, palomino thoroughbred stallion.

  • Horse sales from our breeding program or from anywhere with our locator service.

    Pegasus Farm Equestrian Center is owned and managed by Anne and Mark Kaufman. Anne Kaufman is a 1993 graduate with distinction from Otterbein College with a major in Equine Science and a minor in Business. With her impressive education and 24 years of varied horse experience, Anne is the consummate horsewoman. She is also a three day event rider with several very promising homebreds that she is bringing through the levels. Anne's goal is to compete them at the international level and with them, represent the United States on the Three Day Eventing team at the highest level.
